Arkose Camera Backpack Set

I am a professional photographer who brings minimal gear with me, along with laptop 14” and charging cables. It was a perfect travel bag that incorporated my cameras as well as other little nick nacks such as keys, lens cleaning kit and the like. Depending on the destination of my assignment, I may add additional security to the bag by using zipper lock clips. Hands down the most practical bag I’ve had so far.

It's the perfect size for daily use and day trips with a camera. It's a bit small for my full-size camera with two smaller lenses(sony α + 24mm and 50mm), but they somehow fit. I like the bag so far, but there's one thing I want them to fix... The front lower zipper always gets stuck on the flap, making it difficult to open and close smoothly. I hope they fix this issue for the next model.

I love my new backpack, perfect size and well-organized, and I really like the fact that, with the zipper in the middle, you have access to the bottom part of it. The numerous pockets are smartly located and cover all the inner and outer surfaces of the backpack and its middle partition.

This backpack has plenty of good stuff going on, but it has a higher price tag compared to other premium options out there, still, there is a lot to love. The amount of pockets and the ability to organize all of the extra stuff you inadvertently need to carry is brilliant. It feels like I discover a new handy compartment on a weekly basis and the clever design that allows you to carry your camera bag in the bottom is an excellent feature.

However, I must admit feeling pretty underwhelmed by the look and feel of the bag considering the price tag, it looks like a cheaper bag. Also, the carry straps on mine tend to loosen up constantly, which can be quite frustrating. I suspect it might have something to do with the weight I'm carrying, as I do have my camera, MacBook and Ipad with me at all times. While it is compact and marketed to accommodate all these gadgets, it just doesn't seem to handle the load as well as expected.

Another issue I have is that it lacks plush cushioning and roominess compared to some of its counterparts. When you invest in a bag specifically marketed to keep your equipment safe and organised you naturally expect a bit more padding or space so you can add protective covers.

On the positive side, the branding and branding ethos is top-notch, and the customer communication has been on point since my purchase. While I decided to keep this backpack, I feel it just falls short of its £159 price tag.
